89.1 The Point

During my time at SUNY Brockport, I was a member of 89.1 The Point, a top 40/alternative/ rock station. I was a sports and news reporter, sports director, and broadcaster. As a member of the station, I won five New York State Broadcasters Awards and finished second in the National Association of Broadcasters for best play-by-play.

In 2019, I joined the Red Wings as an intern in their communications and online content department. I wrote game stories and found storylines through game notes to add to each article. The internship was a hybrid-type for me, as I was a part of the promotions and group sales department, running their Dairy Queen Baseball Buddies Program.
